TrainBrain with ABACUS

Welcome to our "ABACUS Learning World"! It's never too early or too late to learn...

Who Are We?

This is the world where we focus on a child’s learning and brain development but not on the actual contents to learn.

Located in Craigieburn, TrainBrain with ABACUS is open to 4-14 yrs old children preferably and classes are held on evenings during the school days and Saturday morning. Classes can also be arranged during holidays if required.

TrainBrain with ABACUS was started by Sarika Gupta when she noticed her 4 year old son being able to write with both left and right hands at the same time. More inspiration crossed the threshold when her 6 year old daughter was observed copying him easily and being very eager to learn. She started thinking about a brain development program with both of them using ABACUS.

This opened a new world, emphasizing the use of both hands at the same time which highlighted some interesting facts about left part of body controlled by right brain and right side of body controlled by left brain. Which means if a child can manage to use both hands together, a quick communication between both hands and brain stimulates both the left and right hemispheres of brain which promotes rapid and balanced whole brain development and a child can become a genius and it is possible with the regular practice of ABACUS.

Our Approach

Majority of children are just brilliant. It won’t be too long before they’re managing well on all beads. With correct finger movements a child would be able to perform calculations very quickly. A child will soon understand the importance and value of every bead’s positions in ABACUS.
Speed and accuracy are extremely important. We are not a tutoring company with weekly allocated worksheets according to fixed term curriculum, we’re a learning universe. We have pride in all our children and they are all equally precious to us. We take learning very seriously and concentrate on each child in regards to their learning and practise abilities. All learning will take place at each child’s learning pace while the faster learner will be challenged more and all of that takes place in a fun disciplined environment.
By watching a child who is learning sliding beads on ABACUS, you can quickly tell what the interest level is going to be because it takes a genuine interest and a mind that is eager to learn to become successful at ABACUS requiring fast fingers to get all beads rolling around.
We enrol each child with the same motive, practise ABACUS. We teach the correct methods and techniques and we continuously encourage them to learn and practise. Your encouragement at home to spend 10-15 mins a day plays a crucial role in practising abacus along with correct finger movements, concentrated mind with fast fingers and having ears & mind open all the time.
